FARIN Foresight Initial Training

This course provides the basic operating instructions for the Foresight Asset/Liability Management model. Participants will receive an overview of the importance of cash flows and learn how to create their unique Chart of Accounts and to maintain the proper cash flow characteristics for their balance sheet and income statement accounts. Raw data files and the proper procedures to download their raw data into the model are discussed. Participants are trained in the proper use and setting of external and internal assumptions so the model can be used as a meaningful decision making tool. The course finishes with the proper use of reports and a review of rolling the model forward from month to month. Participants use their own institution model for this initial in-house training.
