External Model Validation

For institutions running other ALM models but wanting to validate their results against an outside vendor, we offer our model validation services. In this service we build a complete database and load the same level of detailed cash flows as the existing model into FARIN Foresight (LINK) our ALM model, along with the current operating plan to provide output reports showing our assessment of the current risk levels.

At the conclusion of the engagement we provide a written document on our findings versus the internal model and an explanation for major differences relating to differences in model methodologies, assumptions, data, etc. The report is delivered and a follow-up call scheduled to review the findings.
